but not the worst I do not understand teenagers
confident, I told myself I understand teenagers.
After all, I have two under my roof!
And I have a bite of Facebook ...
So lather for reading and Book Fair Outaouais, I said, we will combine literature and Facebook.
In fact, it was not my idea but Find the people WordFest Calgary and I found them very nice initiative. Good
I told myself, the kids love to post their photos on Facebook so we will join them by Facebook.
Thus was born the contest Hast thou seen read where youth are invited to post a picture of them reading a Facebook page.
With my eldest daughter, who has made this contest a volunteer project for school, we made a bet. She bought me my favorite chocolates if it did not have to recruit 150 participants before the Book Fair (which starts in a week!)
And vice versa. Despite
solicitation, mass emails, reminders, the contest does not take off.
Not a single participant!
Yet prices are enticing: $ 100 for the winners.
For a simple picture. We are not asking
still not an essay!
Every morning when I woke up, I threw myself on the Facebook page Contest Hast thou seen read.
And every night I went to bed, I check again.
Nothing.
Pantoute. Not the slightest
photo. Not a single participant
ahead.
I do not understand teenagers.
