Raised Ast And Alt Levels

This life or another

Lucy has left school and family to follow a charismatic teacher who is perhaps not that she believed Miles seeks his missing twin brother for ten years and has probably caused the death of their parents, young Ryan is shocked to learn the true identity of his father three characters totally foreign to each other, and whose destinies come mingle each other dramatically. As in a game of runs, Dan Chaon, National Book Award finalist, establishes connections between these trajectories subtle, gradually transforming his story into a true psychological thriller at the crossroads of the world of David Lynch and Don DeLillo. A demonstration of literary virtuosity and daring on the erosion of identity in a world of increasingly virtual.

Thank Albin Michel and Bob for allowing me to read this book, and at the same time of discover the author

The reader enters the book is without frills: 3 short chapters, which present three stories, three lives. Then the chapters take a more traditional length, which each tell one of three stories, "flash back".

Although this is a novel, Dan Chaon writes like a psychological thriller. This makes browsing, panting, and puts the reader in a state of tension that pushes inexorably towards the end.

Three characters who have nothing to do with each other. They share a past a little chaotic, and personality somewhat disturbed and fragile. As to the author knits his characters, we perceive, subtly and gradually, as the fates are not so foreign as that. And for that I am satisfied with this book that have me held until the end ... .... ... But ... but, the ending leaves me on my hunger. In fact, I thought of a resolution and clear ... Well no! It remained unclear to me. I closed the book with a question and then what? This book remains

incidentally pleasant to read, share a neat, airy presentation, well cut, balanced, well built and cleverly ... ... if not fall, for my taste a bit shipped, and in any case far too open for me. Dan Chaon
